L’Oreal Paris has officially launched its first proprietary AI tool, Beauty Genius.

Beauty Genius, the brand’s first AI Beauty Assistant, combines all of L’Oréal Paris beauty expertise with the most advanced AI technology.

 The tool has access to L’Oréal Paris’ knowledge on beauty in Hair Care, Hair Color, Makeup, and Skincare. 

Beauty Genius also has access to clinical studies, ingredients, routines, and the brand’s extensive product catalog to aid in its recommendations and advice.   

Beauty Genius provides:   

• Personalized diagnostics of skin and skin tone
• Virtual try-on technology 
• Personalized education 
• Answers to consumer questions about sensitive topics 

Also in partnership with Meta, in 2026, Beauty Genius will be available via WhatsApp for an even more integrated user experience. 

Beauty Genius Makes is a 360-degree beauty service that diagnoses, recommends, educates, and simulates beauty outcomes. It is also Agentic AI-Enabled with a memory and context-awareness. It can adapt over time to offer goal-driven support.
