Rahua Is on a Mission to Save the Rainforest

Luxe brand Rahua / Amazon Beauty Inc., founded by hairstylist Fabian Lliguin and Anna Ayers, is “on a mission to provide the highest quality hair care products in the marketplace while also saving the rainforest.”

Lliguin launched the brand after his discovery of “a rare and highly coveted oil native only to the Amazon Rainforest.”

When it comes to packaging, Rahua says it is committed to choosing the most environmentally logical and friendly options available to package their products, and chooses natural glass whenever possible and where it makes sense for consumer usage. Rahua product packaged in plastic is made of PET #1; their white pumps have no metal parts which makes them more recyclable.

The brand recently announced its retail expansion into 16 Bluemercury boutiques. (Products range from $32 - $62, with the brand’s pure Rahua oil retailing for $175.)
